Malpaso dancers in -24 Hours and a Dog.- Photo by Robert Torres

It is through the physicality that we express who we are, where we come from, and not necessarily with a precise style of dance.

Once upon a time, at the very beginning of the company, we were 3 dreamers. Now we are a bigger group of dreamers.

It’s very good to have technique to express yourself but it’s much more important to enjoy what you do.

I am not certain that you repeat anything, ever. The dancers must stay aware. It’s every night a brand new experience. You can only walk aside of them, you can’t notate it, so you can’t repeat it.
